Family-run, Laceby-based developers Cyden Homes have broken all records with 4 quality awards at the regional 2013 LABC Building Awards held at the Cedar Pines Hotel in Scunthorpe.

Not only is this the fifth year running that Cyden Homes have been recognised for the high quality of their staff and homes but receiving 4 awards on the night was both a record for Cyden Homes and more than any other development company in the region.

“These accolades are testament to our principles that by employing high quality staff who have a desire to produce the very best homes, we will be recognised by both the industry and our customers as builders of the very best homes” said Simon Dyson, Managing Director of Cyden Homes. “Whilst this recognition is important to us, what is more important to us is that over the last 12 months, 100% of our occupiers would recommend us to their friends and family or would buy another Cyden home”

Rick Siddle (42) from Scartho won the supreme award for Best Site Management at Springfield Meadows in Scartho and now goes forward to the national finals later this year. Springfield Meadows is one of Cyden Homes’ most successful and popular developments proving that quality brings its own rewards.

Simon Scarbrow (49) from Lincoln, a previous winner with of this award, was Highly Commended in the same category where 2 out of the 3 nominations were for Cyden Homes staff. Simon is currently working at East in Finningley near Doncaster but is well-known to Cyden purchaser’s in the Cleethorpes area where he won his previous award.

Gloria Way in Wyber’s Wood was Highly Commended in the Best Small Development category. Gloria Way comprised four detached homes within an existing residential area which were designed to blend in within the existing street scene whilst causing as little disruption to the neighbours as possible.

Finally Springfield Meadows in Scartho won the supreme award for Best Affordable development for its work carried out with the Shoreline Housing Association in the early part of this development.
